This was our third Riviera tour and it lived up to all expectations. Our tour manager was superb and the local guides for Pompeii and Herculaneum were also excellent. The itinerary was varied and well-planned so that we saw everything we wanted to but did not feel rushed. Our hotel was also excellent with wonderful food and friendly staff. We are already planning our next Riviera tour!

Returned from Spain yesterday and just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had. From the time we met our Tour Manager to arriving back yesterday everything was first class. Our Tour Manager did a splendid job, his knowledge of Spain was unbelievable and made very interesting listening. He really looked after us and was extremely caring pointing out potential hazards of being in a foreign country. I thoroughly recommend this trip and full marks to Riviera.

Never having travelled with Riviera before, I did not know what to expect from your company. I have to say it exceeded my expectations. From the time we boarded the Eurostar at St Pancras to leaving the train at St Pancras,our tour manager made sure we were well informed but was never intrusive. I have travelled with other companies where we were told what was happening and where we should be at any given time, not so with Riviera! Yes we were informed of activities, but then given the option to join them. Although the person I travelled with and I did take part in everything, it all seemed so relaxed and we didn’t feel “herded” from one place to another. The hotel was good; Bruges and its people were lovely; and to cap it all we were very lucky with the weather, albeit cold it stayed dry most of the time (I don’t suppose you arranged this as well, did you?). I have to say that our tour manager was a gem, informative, helpful and friendly. I do feel we are all too quick to complain, but I think we should also praise where it is due. So, all in all, a great trip with a great company and I will certainly be looking at the Riviera Travel brochure before looking at any other. Looking forward to travelling with Riviera Travel again.

We arrived home yesterday from the Califorina & Golden West Holiday, what can we say…  “A truly overwhelming experence! A holiday of a life time! It was Fantastic!”. Everything was Perfect, don’t think we would ever again go on a two week holiday sitting by the pool, relaxing, doing very little when you can go on a trip like the one we just finished. We must mention our tour guide, she was just fantastic and a fountain of knowledge of all the places we visited and of course our driver, what a man he could drive that big bus anywhere and his personallity was outstanding. It Really was a Holiday of a Life Time. Thank you all in Rivera Travel for making out trip so so Special.

We took the train from Delhi to Mombai, via Agra, tiger spotting in Ranthambhore, Jaipur, Udaipur and the cave temples of Ellora and Ajanta. I can honestly say that we were spoiled and taken care of magnificently. The train was luxurious and intriguing, we only had to unpack and pack once, yet we visited many fascinating places and learned a great deal about India, her religions, palaces and temples from well-informed and friendly guides. I can’t think of a nicer way to see India!  Whilst the outside temperature was very hot, the air-conditioning could verge on the too cool at times, so take a jacket. Riviera had arranged several special and spectacular events for us and access to normally closed palaces. Our photographs are amazing! All in all, I recommend this holiday very highly.
