A friend and I have just come back from the Classical Italy tour. It was the first time I had travelled with Riviera and I have to say the holiday was wonderful. The trip was well organised and our Tour Manager was fantastic, he knew each area well and was able to give us great advice on what to see when we were left to our own devices. He also managed the whole holiday well from the time he met us at the airport until the time he saw us safely to check-in on the way home. I can’t give the holiday or the Tour Manager enough praise, so much was packed into the week’s travel. Travelled on 29/04/2012

A great holiday in Italy. The hotel was wonderful - clean, comfortable rooms, plenty of delicious food and very friendly staff. The trips were varied and very enjoyable with excellent guides in Pompeii and Herculaneum. The drive along the Amalfi coast was breathtaking as was the trip to Capri. Our tour guide was excellent; very knowledgeable about the local area and the places we visited. She couldn’t have been more helpful. We will certainly book with Riviera travel again.

An excellent tour to Classical Spain. Lots to see and do with our knowledgeable guide. Hotels great, good food and helpful staff with mine and my friend’s diets, both gluten free. The 3 hotels were spotlessly clean as were all the places that we visited. All very well organised. Nothing was too much bother. Thanks from both of us.

Just back from Sicily - our second holiday with Riviera Travel. A very interesting tour, well organized by our charming tour manager, comfortable hotels and good company. The amazing historic sites in Sicily are not easy to do in your own car -  streets thronging with pedestrians, difficult carparking and hair pin bends - but doing it with Riviera, you get to see all the highlights in a busy week of varied activity and still have time for a daily swim before dinner! Perfect!

India caressed my soul…and I am longing to return to maybe do India/Nepal as Riviera were outstanding as was the tour, from the bustling sounds and smells of Dehli to the impressive Taj at Agra and the wondrous Forts and Mosques. I thought nothing else would surprise me until I went to Ranthambore and was lucky enough to see a magnificent tiger! Our tour guide, anything he did not know was not worth knowing, he was the font of all knowledge and had the personality and comedy touch to match he became a friend as well a tour guide as did the other people travelling in our group who we exchanged emails and tiger pics with. The whole of my trip touched my heart I fell in love with India and it will stay with me forever the kindness and smiles of the people to the excellent services of Riviera!
